Fireplace chimney flu covers are used to prevent rain and snow from entering the chimney flu which leads down directly into the fireplace. Chimney flu covers come in a variety of shapes and styles. Some of the more popular covers are made from galvanized metal or copper. The flu cover chosen needs to fit the chimney flu.
